Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
1. What we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and billing details needed to run your subscription.
Usage data: how you use the Service (searches run, sites built, emails generated) so we can operate, support, and improve it.
Prospect and client data you provide: business information you enter or import while using the tools. This is your data — see section 4.
2. Your Google API key stays yours
Your Google Places API key is stored only to run prospect searches on your behalf. It is never shared, never used for any other customer, and never used for any purpose other than operating your account. You can revoke or replace it at any time, which immediately stops our access.
3. Public business data
Prospect Miner processes publicly available business information (business names, addresses, public reviews, and the publicly observable state of business websites). We do not collect non-public personal data about prospects.
4. How we use your data — and what we never do
We use your data to operate your account, process billing, provide support, and improve the Service.
We never sell your data. We never use your prospect or client lists to market to your clients, and we never contact your prospects. Your client relationships are entirely yours.
5. Sharing with service providers
We share limited data with the providers that run the Service: payment processing, email delivery, and hosting infrastructure. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function and is bound to protect it.
When you run a prospect search, your request goes to Google through your own API key under Google's terms and privacy policy.
We disclose data only when required by law or to protect the security of the Service.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.
7. Retention, access, and deletion
We keep your account data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for billing and legal records.
You can request a copy of your data, corrections, or full deletion at any time by emailing support@genlocalsite.com. Deletion removes your account data from our systems; data already in your Estage hubs is yours and unaffected.
8. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and the principle of least privilege. API keys and credentials are stored encrypted and never exposed in client-side code. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to rotate keys you believe may be compromised.
9. Contact
Privacy questions or requests: support@genlocalsite.com. General inquiries: info@genlocalsite.com.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
